Job Summary

The Operations Systems Support Specialist provides day-to-day support and administration for core operational systems, including Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, Funnel, and related integrated platforms. This role serves as a key resource for internal users by troubleshooting issues, supporting system functionality, maintaining documentation, and coordinating with software vendors to ensure systems operate effectively and support business needs.

This position partners cross-functionally to support operational efficiency, reporting accuracy, and system scalability as business needs evolve.

 

Responsibilities 


Systems Administration & User Support

· Provide Tier 1 support for operational systems, including Yardi Voyager, RentCafe, Funnel, and other supported applications.

· Troubleshoot day-to-day system issues and respond to user questions in a timely manner.

· Support system configuration updates as needed.

· Assist with data imports and exports between Yardi Voyager and integrated systems.

· Support report requests and troubleshoot reporting issues.

· Escalate complex issues when needed and follow through to resolution.

· Track support requests and communicate updates with internal teams.


Vendor Coordination & System Maintenance

· Serve as a primary point of contact with Yardi and third-party software vendors for support tickets and issue resolution.

· Submit, monitor, and follow up on vendor support requests.

· Maintain strong vendor relationships to support timely responses and issue resolution.

· Assist with system upgrades, updates, and release testing.

· Help ensure integrations between systems are functioning as expected.

· Report recurring issues and assist with identifying long-term solutions.


Documentation & Training Support

· Assist in developing and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to operational systems.

· Create and update user guides and support materials.

· Assist with onboarding and training new system users.

· Review and update documentation to ensure ongoing accuracy.


Operational Support & Continuous Improvement

· Build knowledge of how operational teams use systems in day-to-day workflows.

· Identify opportunities to improve user experience and system processes.

· Share feedback from users and recurring support trends with internal teams.

· Stay informed on system updates and enhancements for supported platforms.

· Assist with testing and user acceptance activities for system changes and updates.

· Support operational teams in adopting system changes and updates.

· Support business initiatives by continuously looking for AI products and implementing throughout the company.

Requirements


  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting ERP, property management, or other business-critical software systems.
  • Experience supporting Yardi Voyager or comparable property management software preferred.
  • Experience in property management, multifamily housing, or affordable housing environments preferred.
  • Ability to train and support users with varying levels of technical experience.

Technical Competencies

  • Experience with Yardi Voyager (preferred) or comparable ERP/property management systems.
  • Knowledge of RentCafe, CRM Systems, or related property management technology platforms preferred.
  • System troubleshooting and support ticket management.
  • Basic understanding of system integrations and data flow between platforms.
  • Report support and troubleshooting.
  • Experience supporting software upgrades, testing, and system updates.
  • Ability to create and maintain system documentation and user guides.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Compensation and Benefits for Operations Systems Support Specialist:


Pay Range: $57,855 - $76,100

Compensation is determined by several factors that vary depending on the position, including the individual’s experience, skills, and the knowledge they bring to the specific role.
