Training Systems Coordinator
Description

The Training Systems Coordinator is a key member of the VIVEX team that works with departments to support the employee training processes to assure that employee training files complaint with VIVEX Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as well as applicable state and federal regulations and AATB requirements.  The Training Systems Coordinator also provides data to the Quality Systems Manager to help evaluate the training program’s success.  

Requirements

  

Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Vivex will not provide sponsorship or employment for candidates who require the 24-month STEM Optional Practical Training (OPT) extension. Please note this is not an offer of immigration sponsorship

  1. Assist in the creation, maintenance and administration of both the Learning Management and eQMS systems. 
  2. Provide support to the hiring department and HR to facilitate the onboarding process for new hire on-site and remote employees. 
  3. Create training plans for departmental new hires, and internal role changes. 
  4. Host and/or presenter for Quality Systems live training as needed, includes NEO trainings, annual compliance trainings, and other training on an as needed basis.
  5. Assist in the creation and assignment of AATB compliant annual training tracking technical staff’s training progress, create reports on outcomes of all training and maintain employee training      records for the company.
  6. Co-manage the Training system ensuring applicable documents and training materials      are properly created, assigned and completed.
  7. Perform periodic audits of training processes and documentation to identify deficiencies.
  8. Support the training programs offered and serve as a resource for training and career development to employees and VIVEX customers.
  9. Assist employees with registration and preparation activities for professional development certifications and exams. 
  10. Other roles as assigned by manager.

  

Quality Assurance

  1. Maintain knowledge of and support VIVEX policies and procedures.
  2. Maintain know of appropriate regulatory, statutory, accreditation requirements, and current Good Tissue Practices.
  3. Responsible for reporting all variances, errors, and deviations on all VIVEX initiated documentation to QA management. Participate in the investigation, implementation of corrective actions, and documentation of complaint files      and deviation reports, as needed.
  4. Participate in third-party audits and inspections, as needed.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality Systems team. 

  

Qualifications

BS degree preferred. Minimum of two (2) years Quality, Regulatory, or biotechnology experience preferred. 

Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to exercise sound judgment. Ability to problem solve, analyze, and give recommendations. Must be detail oriented and organized. Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary groups.


Working conditions

On-site work schedule. Some evening and weekend availability may be required. 


Physical requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for prolonged periods of time. The employee may occasionally be required to pull, lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
