The Packaging Engineer Intern will support the Packaging and Product Experience team with lab activities such as sample prep, trials, and executing testing procedures. During a 6–10 week internship, this role will help evaluate potential packaging components and systems to determine compatibility with current and future products.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE YOUR MARK:
Possible Internship Projects Include (priority based on business need and candidate interests):
· Support lab activities by setting up equipment and conditions for testing, preparing samples, and recording data.
· Support the Packaging and Product Experience team by reporting test results for packaging components.
· Analyze applicable data on packaging component functionality, ease of use, and compatibility with products.
· Support the evaluation and testing process of new packaging technology.
Internship Outcomes
· Completion of testing and evaluation for multiple packaging components.
· Delivery of comprehensive analysis of package testing trials completed.
· Professional, organized communication with cross-functional partners when gathering inputs.
Main Interfaces
· Product Experience: Support product experience team with determining packaging options for new formulations.
· Marketing: Assist in determining packaging component sourcing and preparing sample products for retail trials.
· Supply Chain: Collaborate with supply chain to communicate with packaging suppliers.
REQUIRED SUPERPOWERS:
· Strong Excel skills.
· Comfortable working with data and checking for accuracy/detail.
· Clear written and verbal communication; able to summarize findings succinctly.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering/Design, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
WHAT IT TAKES DAY-TO-DAY:
· This is an office-based role with occasional physical requirements (lifting 10-20 pounds)
· Hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days remote
