About Live Health Connect Residences

At Live Health Connect Residences, we believe exceptional care is built on meaningful human connections. Our assisted living and memory care community is dedicated to enhancing quality of life through personalized support, engaging experiences, and compassionate service. Every interaction, whether assisting with daily routines, sharing a conversation, or providing reassurance during a difficult moment, helps create a positive and enriching experience for our residents.

Managed by Bizzell Global Ventures, our team is committed to combining hospitality, wellness, and person-centered care to support older adults and their families. As our community continues to grow, we are seeking dedicated caregivers who share our passion for serving seniors with dignity, empathy, and excellence.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Resident Advisor (Caregiver), you play an essential role in supporting residents' physical, emotional, and social well-being. You will assist residents with daily living activities, encourage participation in community programs, and help create a safe and comfortable environment that promotes independence whenever possible.

Working closely with nursing staff, caregivers, resident engagement professionals, and community leadership, you will help ensure residents receive personalized care that respects their individual needs, preferences, and life experiences.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
  • Support residents with mobility, transfers, ambulation, and use of assistive devices.
  • Provide dining assistance, meal setup, hydration support, and feeding assistance when appropriate.
  • Observe and report changes in resident condition, behavior, appetite, or emotional well-being.
  • Support memory care residents using person-centered approaches, redirection techniques, and structured routines.
  • Encourage participation in activities, wellness programs, and social engagement opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate documentation regarding resident care and service delivery.
  • Respond promptly to resident requests, call systems, and emergency situations.
  • Assist with transportation, escorts, and supervision during community activities.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe resident living spaces.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members.
  • Follow infection prevention, safety, and regulatory compliance standards.

A Day in the Life

Your day begins around 7:00 a.m. as you join the morning shift report and receive updates on resident needs, preferences, and care plans. Before breakfast, you assist several residents with dressing, grooming, and preparing for the day. One resident enjoys sharing stories about her grandchildren while getting ready, while another appreciates a few extra minutes of encouragement before joining the dining room.

Throughout the morning, you're helping residents navigate daily routines while looking for opportunities to support independence. You assist with mobility, provide companionship, and ensure residents feel comfortable and respected during every interaction. When a memory care resident becomes anxious, you calmly redirect the conversation and help them feel safe and reassured.

By lunchtime, you're helping residents enjoy their meals while encouraging hydration and social interaction. During quieter moments, you document care provided and communicate observations to the healthcare team. Later in the afternoon, you accompany residents to activities led by the engagement team and celebrate small victories, whether it's a resident participating in an exercise class or reconnecting with a favorite hobby.

As your shift comes to a close, you assist with evening routines, update team members during shift handoff, and reflect on the meaningful moments that made a difference throughout the day. Every shift offers opportunities to provide comfort, build relationships, and positively impact the lives of residents and their families.
