Primary Job Responsibilities
- Drives sales growth: Identifies and pursues new business opportunities and partnerships within the IT sector.
- Build relationships: Maintains strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
- Develop sales strategies: Creates and implements sales strategies to achieve business growth targets.
- Conducts market research: Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the IT landscape.
- Collaborates with teams: Works with marketing and product teams to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Participates in networking events: Expands business reach through participation in industry conferences and trade shows.
- Prepares business proposals: Prepares and presents business proposals and presentations to prospective clients.
- Monitors performance: Monitors and reports on the performance of business development initiatives.
Job Competencies, Skills & Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field
- 7-10 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or related roles within the IT industry
- Strong understanding of technology solutions and market trends
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving business growth targets.
- Travel may be required occasionally for trade shows and engagements, generally no more than twice per month.
Environment and Normal Working Conditions
Office environment. Core business hours are generally 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. However, this position will/may require work to be performed outside of normal business hours based on Company operations.
Physical Requirements
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting including verbally communicating, seeing and hearing to exchange information and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard. Daily physical functions may include standing, sitting and walking for prolonged periods of time and occasionally stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and twisting. The employee may engage in lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25 pounds. The position also requires the operation of office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement.
