(Culinary) Steward/Dishwasher Supervisor

The Edgewater Hotel is seeking a Steward to join our team! 


The Steward Supervisor is responsible for leading the stewarding team and ensuring the cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of all kitchen and back-of-house areas. This role oversees dishwashing operations, waste management, banquet equipment inventory, receiving activities, and completion of cleaning projects. The Steward Supervisor monitors staffing coverage, assigns daily tasks, reinforces safety and sanitation standards, and works closely with culinary and banquet teams to support successful hotel and event operations. 



RATE OF PAY: $29.29-$29.29 per hour


SCHEDULE:
Flexible availability for shifts is needed.

Requirements
  •  Must be able to work safely with delicate equipment and china/glass/silver.
  • 3 years of experience preferred
  •  Must be able to lift up to 50lbs  
  •  Understanding of basic sanitation, including safely reading and following instructions on various equipment and chemicals/cleaning agent  
  •  Ability to communicate regularly with associates and supervisors  
  •  Ability to follow daily checklists and report any issues or challenges to management team 
  •  Must be able to communicate effectively in English and have a team-oriented attitude
