Position Overview

We are seeking a relationship-driven Account Manager to own and grow a portfolio of client accounts within the commercial interiors and furnishings industry. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding existing accounts, and developing new business, while serving as a trusted advisor throughout the full project lifecycle.

The ideal candidate brings experience working with dealers, A&D firms (architects & designers), general contractors, and end users, and thrives in a fast-paced, project-based sales environment.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and grow a portfolio of accounts, driving revenue through repeat business, cross-selling, and upselling services
  • Develop and execute account plans to deepen relationships with key stakeholders including dealers, A&D firms, and corporate clients
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within target verticals
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle—from initial discovery through installation and post-project follow-up
  • Lead client discovery and needs analysis, aligning Turnkey’s services with project goals, timelines, and budgets
  • Partner with internal project management and operations teams to ensure seamless execution and high client satisfaction
  • Generate and manage project pipelines, forecasts, and sales activity within CRM systems
  • Collaborate on proposals, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations to win and retain business
  • Build and maintain relationships through industry engagement, including networking events, trade shows, and client meetings
  • Provide market intelligence and client feedback to leadership to inform service offerings and go-to-market strategy

Requirements

 Qualifications

  • 3–5+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably within commercial furniture, interiors, or facility services
  • Demonstrated success managing client relationships and delivering revenue growth within existing accounts
  • Experience working with commercial furniture dealers, manufacturers, A&D firms, or construction partners strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of project-based sales cycles and the commercial interiors environment
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and client priorities simultaneously
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Self-motivated with a balance of hunter (new business) and farmer (account growth) mentality
  • Ability to travel locally for client meetings, site visits, and industry events
