Job Description
The Sales Development Representative is a frontline outbound sales role responsible for generating new business opportunities for KBKG. This position requires proactive prospecting, cold calling, and consistent outbound outreach to business owners, C-level executives, referral partners, and other prospective clients.
We are seeking an energetic, persistent, and attentive self-starter with a growth mindset who is comfortable working in a dynamic sales environment. The ideal candidate is a true sales hunter who is motivated by building pipeline, creating new conversations, and converting prospects into qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities
· Proactively identify, prospect, and engage new outbound leads through cold calling, email outreach, social selling, and follow-up campaigns.
· Make consistent outbound calls to prospective customers, referral partners, and targeted accounts to generate interest in KBKG’s services.
· Be the first point of contact for prospective customers generated through outbound sales efforts and inbound inquiries.
· Leverage KBKG’s tech stack to input and maintain accurate information in Salesforce.com.
· Manage targeted outbound prospect lists and inbound lead pipelines to completion through a variety of outreach and follow-up tactics.
· Collaborate with other members of the sales team to achieve overall sales goals.
· Work directly with business owners and C-level executives to identify and sell KBKG solutions.
· Partner with KBKG Principals and a Technical Management support team to maximize KBKG value for referral partners and clients.
· Own the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing.
Requirements
· A proven sales hunter and closer. Ability to own the sales cycle - from lead generation to close
· Demonstrated experience with outbound sales, cold calling, prospecting, and pipeline generation.
· Strong discovery and communication skills
· 3+ years of outside B2B sales experience (relevant Industry or credits/incentives experience highly preferred, specifically 179D or R&D)
· Proven track record of sales excellence
· Self-starter within a fast-paced team, rapid-change environment
· Ability to work independently while also adapting to a fast-paced team environment
· Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders across different departments
· Attention to detail and exceptional analytical skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Experience with CPA firms and/or B2B sales a plus
· Experience with tax incentives a plus
· Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud a plus
· Experience with HubSpot a plus
Education & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. A master’s degree or additional certifications can be advantageous.
Physical Requirements
· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
