PMC Smart Solutions is seeking a Process Technician to join our team. In this role, you will monitor and optimize manufacturing processes, support product quality initiatives, troubleshoot processing issues, and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, a commitment to quality, and a desire to learn and grow within a technical manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor process inputs and outputs to ensure product quality and process stability.
• Measure and evaluate process performance, capability, and control.
• Troubleshoot out-of-control conditions, machine deficiencies, and product non-conformities.
• Set and start molds according to PMC standards.
• Document process improvements, corrective actions, and processing history.
• Support processing and quality needs as a member of the Shift Technical Team.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Support and comply with PMC's quality management system and procedures.
• Perform additional duties that contribute to the overall success of the operation.

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Plastic processing knowledge and understanding of material performance preferred.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and continually develop technical knowledge and skills.
- Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
- Ability to regularly lift up to 55 pounds overhead.
- Willingness to work overtime as needed.
