TelyRx is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Compliance Specialist to support

licensing, credentialing, formulary operations, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy

administration.

Responsibilities:

Licensing and Credentialing

  •  Support the process of obtaining, maintaining, and renewing licenses and certifications for providers, pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and non-resident pharmacies
  •  Assist with updating and maintaining records with regulatory and industry organizations including NABP, NCPDP, and LegitScript
  •  Communicate professionally and promptly with state licensing boards, providers, and other regulatory organizations
  •  Track applications, renewals, expiration dates, and supporting documentation to ensure accurate and timely processing
  •  Maintain organized and efficient record keeping systems related to licensing and credentialing activities
  •  Monitor renewal timelines and notify staff members and providers of upcoming deadlines and required actions
  •  Serve as a liaison between staff, providers, and regulatory entities regarding licensure requirements, continuing education, signatures, documentation requests, and application status updates
  •  Other tasks as assigned or required by management 

Administrative and Regulatory Support

  •  Assist with administrative and regulatory reporting obligations including PDMP, quarterly reporting, and OIG-related documentation
  •  Collaborate with team members on the implementation and maintenance of training programs, compliance initiatives, and risk assessment audits
  •  Support the maintenance and organization of pharmacy operational documentation and internal compliance records
  •  Other tasks as assigned or required by management 

Organization and Document Retention

  •  Maintain records related to licenses, certifications, provider communications, renewals, recalls, reports, disciplinary actions, and regulatory documentation
  •  Collect, verify, and organize documentation related to education, training, credentialing, and licensure
  •  Ensure records are maintained in accordance with company policies and regulatory standards 

Compliance and Quality Assurance

  •  Support ongoing compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations, licensing requirements, and health and safety standards
  •  Stay informed on changes in pharmacy laws, regulations, and industry standards to support operational compliance
  •  Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  •  Investigate internal errors and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes as necessary
  •  Assist the Regulatory Manager with audits, inspections, licensing reviews, and quality assurance initiatives related to compliance and creden
Requirements

Qualifications

  •  Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  •  Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and regulatory requirements simultaneously
  •  Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  •  Experience working in healthcare, pharmacy, compliance, credentialing, or regulatory operations preferred
  •  Familiarity with pharmacy regulations, licensing processes, and healthcare compliance standards preferred
  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other organizational/document management systems

Qualifications:


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field is preferred.


Experience:


  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in licensing, credentialing, or regulatory compliance, preferably within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
  • Experience working with national licensing and credentialing requirements is a plus.

  • Strong knowledge of licensing and credentialing processes and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with regulatory agencies, healthcare professionals, and internal teams.
  • Proficiency in using credentialing and compliance management software.
