Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk
Position reports to the Accounts Receivable Manager
Position Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $50,000 to $55,000 Yearly
Location: Chicago, IL, 60614 - Hybrid
The Staff Accountant’s responsibilities will include but not be limited to posting cash receipts, collection calls, sending out pro forma invoices and monitoring sales order holds.
Responsibilities
- Post Cash Receipts daily.
- Collection calls and emails when needed.
- Post Invoices daily
- Send out Proforma Invoices
- Send out customer invoices daily and customer statements monthly.
- Manage Sales Order Holds for both holds at order input and shipping.
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in accounting
- MS-Office proficiency, specifically intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working in an accounts receivable clerk position
- Experience with accounting system Epicor and JPMorgan Chase Access is preferred
- Experience working in the lighting, retail or manufacturing industry is a plus
