JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Welder is responsible for the welding of structural assemblies consisting of component structural shapes, steel pipe, and plate steel. The Welder will utilize hand tools and welding equipment while following shop drawings and industry specifications

· Read blueprints and interpret industry specifications

· Properly welding of components into assemblies using MIG welder

· Confirm correctness of assemblies using various measuring devices

· Ensure proper welds to industry standards

· Other duties and assignments as needed


DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Be a certified welder AWS D1.1

· Ability to read and understand detailed drawings with weld symbols.

· MIG welding

· Experience with Ironworker

· Experience with Plate Roller

· Experience with Tube Bender 

· Operate Forklift

· Operate Overhead Crane.
