Radial Power is seeking an experienced and highly motivated General Construction Superintendent to oversee the field execution of commercial, industrial, and utility-scale renewable energy construction projects. The Superintendent will be responsible for managing daily site operations, coordinating contractors, ensuring safety compliance, driving project schedules, and delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget.

Project Site Management
- Oversee all daily construction activities on assigned projects.
- Coordinate and supervise contractors and field personnel.
- Ensure work is completed according to project plans, specifications, quality standards, and contract requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain project documentation and progress updates.
Safety Leadership
- Promote and enforce Radial Power’s safety culture and compliance with all OSHA, federal, state, and local regulations.
- Investigate incidents, near misses, and safety concerns while implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure all personnel maintain required certifications and safety training.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Coordinate project activities with project managers, engineers, utility companies, inspectors, and stakeholders.
- Monitor project milestones and proactively address potential delays.
- Participate in project planning meetings and provide field input on constructability and scheduling.
Quality Control
- Ensure all work meets company quality standards and project specifications.
- Coordinate inspections and testing activities.
- Identify and resolve construction deficiencies and punch-list items.
- Maintain compliance with applicable building codes and industry standards.
- Review subcontractor performance and verify completed work.
- Support procurement and material delivery coordination to minimize project disruptions.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop field personnel.
- Foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment.
- Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Support workforce planning and staffing needs across multiple projects when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- 7+ years of progressive construction experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a Superintendent or field leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of commercial, industrial, or utility-scale construction practices.
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and project trades.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Strong understanding of OSHA safety regulations and jobsite safety management.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel to project sites as required.
Preferred
- Experience with renewable energy, solar, battery energy storage systems (BESS), or power infrastructure projects.
- OSHA 30 Certification.
- First Aid/CPR Certification.
- NCCER, OSHA, or other industry-recognized construction certifications.
- Experience with Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to walk active construction sites and navigate uneven terrain.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and perform site inspections
