Description

The Logistics Administration Analyst plays a pivotal role in optimizing supply chain operations through data analysis, process improvement, and coordination of logistical functions. This position supports efficient inventory management, transportation planning, and vendor communication—all vital to ensuring goods move smoothly from origin to destination.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Analyze logistics data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain and update shipment, inventory, and supply chain databases
  • Collaborate with carriers, suppliers, and warehouse personnel to ensure timely delivery
  • Monitor KPIs such as transportation costs, delivery times, and inventory accuracy
  • Generate reports and dashboards for management review
  • Support budgeting and forecasting for logistics operations
  • Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and company standards
  • Identify areas to streamline processes and reduce costs
Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in logistics or supply chain analytics
  • Proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and logistics software (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred
  • Knowledge of lean supply chain principles
  • Familiarity with global shipping regulations and customs
