Key Responsibilities:

- Diagnose and repair diesel engines and related mechanical systems on a variety of vehicles and equipment

- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safety and operational efficiency

- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues accurately

- Maintain detailed records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance activities

- Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards during all maintenance procedures

- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks

- Order and manage parts and supplies needed for repairs and maintenance

Skills and Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, hydraulics, and electrical components

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications (e.g., ASE certification preferred)

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy parts and equipment
