Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to support advanced electrical design, development, and integration within our engineering and manufacturing environment. This role will provide high-level technical expertise across the full electrical design lifecycle, supporting both system-level architecture and PCB-level design for complex electronic systems.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience translating system requirements into robust electrical designs, developing and reviewing schematics, and supporting products from concept through production. This role will lead technical solutions and collaborate with manufacturing and engineering groups.
Essential Job Functions:
• Provide senior electrical engineering support for product development, system upgrades, and production efforts.
• Lead electrical design activities at both the system architecture level and PCB design level.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in PCB design, schematic capture, layout, and design optimization.
• Create, review, and approve electrical schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and engineering documentation.
• Utilize advanced PCB design tools to develop high-quality, manufacturable circuit board designs.
• Perform analysis, troubleshooting, root cause investigations, and corrective actions for complex electrical issues.
• Support prototype development, testing, qualification, and transition into production manufacturing.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers and technicians.
• Participate in design reviews, requirements development, risk assessments, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support manufacturing through design for manufacturability (DFM), testability, and production readiness activities.
• Evaluate new technologies, components, and design approaches to improve product performance and reliability.
Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline
• 10+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience supporting complex electronic systems
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security clearance.
• Expert-level experience with PCB design tools for schematic capture and PCB layout
• Strong understanding of PCB design principles.
• Experience designing, testing, troubleshooting, and releasing electronic hardware into production environments
• Experience with electrical system integration and hardware development lifecycle processes
• Ability to interpret and develop engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams

• Must be able to interpret data, information, and documents
• Occasional Travel may be required
• Occasionally will need to lift/and or move up to 20lbs
• Moderate environment temperature and noise level
• This is largely a sedentary role; This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines
