Come join the Hillendale Home Care team! We are a trusted in-home care partner working with senior care clients and caregivers throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and we’re looking for an Orientation Coordinator to join our Walnut Creek team!
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Coordinate and facilitate in-person orientation sessions for all newly hired Caregivers.
- Prepare and manage New Hire Orientation schedules, ensuring all logistics are arranged in advance including room reservations, equipment, supplies, badges, systems access, and printed materials.
- Order and prepare orientation materials, employee handbooks, and welcome kits ahead.
- Introduce new caregivers to Hillendale Home Care’s culture, mission, values, policies, and operational procedures with a focus on engagement, retention and service excellence.
- Collaborate with Recruiting Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely completion of onboarding records, caregiver profiles, compliance documents, and other admin tasks needed post orientation
- Gather and analyze feedback from orientation through surveys to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct post-orientation follow-ups with new hires within their first 7-14 days.
- Collaborate with department leads to update orientations content in line with changing policies, regulatory updates, and best practices.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of direct caregiving experience required (home care, private care, home health care, or CNA)
- Experience supporting caregiver onboarding and cross training
- Demonstrated ability to train and support caregivers with patience and clarity
- Experience with memory care clients; private, facility or hospital settings preferred
- Proficiency with Google Workspace apps (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail), WellSky/ClearCare, etc.
Salary Description
$23-$25 p/h plus incentive comp
