Talent Management Specialist
Description

Summary:

The Talent Management Specialist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with senior HR management in managing recruitment and onboarding. In addition, this role provides support to HR functions in the following areas: employee relations and engagement, performance management and policy implementation.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Manage full cycle recruitment for all positions 
  • Serve as primary contact for new employees from offer acceptance through first 90 days
  • Coordinate orientation sessions, training schedules and introductions to teams
  • Partner with key stakeholders (IT, accounting, etc.) to ensure systems and resources are ready 
  • Maintain and improve onboarding materials, checklists and resources to align with best practices
  • Collect feedback from new hires to evaluate and improve processes
  • Support compliance by ensuring all required forms, policies, and training are completed
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process for all new employees, including pre-boarding documentation, orientation scheduling and supporting systems set up to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
  • Track and analyze onboarding metrics to continuously improve the process
  • Partner with leadership to build a sense of belonging and engagement
  • Evaluate and recommend recruiting platforms to maximize the quality of candidates and exposure to the organization
  • Manage communication to new hires, hiring managers and stakeholders.
  • Assist in developing and leading initiatives to support colleagues, managers and stakeholders
  • Assist in managing company training through the learning management system (LMS)
  • Assist HR on other projects as needed
  • Hybrid work (3 days onsite, 2 remote)


Requirements

Job Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in a talent acquisition role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices.
  • Experience working with Paylocity
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong organizational, project management and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong listening and interpersonal skills; skilled at developing and maintaining effective working relationships 
  • Collaborates well with others yet is highly self-motivated and able to work well under stress and independently in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Description
$80,000-$90,000
