Position Summary
The Finance & Corporate Development Intern will provide analytical and operational support to both the Finance and Corporate Development teams. This role offers hands-on exposure to financial planning and analysis, executive reporting, budgeting, acquisitions, and strategic growth initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and interested in developing a strong foundation in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and business strategy.

Essential Responsibilities
- Finance Team Support
- Assist with executive-level financial reporting and business performance analysis.
- Support the development and maintenance of financial models.
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends and business insights.
- Assist in the development and tracking of key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and analyses for leadership review.
- Assist with special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
- Help identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data quality.
- Corporate Development Team Support
- Assist in evaluating potential acquisition opportunities.
- Support financial modeling and valuation analysis for acquisition targets.
- Conduct industry, market, and competitive research.
- Analyze historical financial statements and operating performance.
- Assist with due diligence activities and transaction support.
- Help prepare investment committee and executive-level presentations.
- Support active merger and acquisition transactions from evaluation through closing.
- Participate in strategic growth initiatives and corporate development projects.
Requirements
Qualifications Required
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong academic performance and demonstrated analytical capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Preferred
- Prior internship experience in finance, accounting, investment banking, consulting, corporate development, or related fields.
- Experience building financial models in Excel.
- Familiarity with financial statement analysis.
- Exposure to mergers and acquisitions concepts.
- Experience working with large datasets and business analytics tools.
