Responsible for managing business in an assigned territory. Build and maintain distributor and end-user relationships, develop new business, meet annual sales goals, and support regional sales strategies. Acts as the company's face to clients in the field and aligns territory growth plans with company objectives.
Essential Functions
· Develop and execute an annual territory sales plan to achieve set goals
· Manage and grow existing accounts, build strong relationships, identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities
· Prospect, cold call, and cultivate new business via needs assessments and solution presentations
· Conduct end-user visits, deliver professional presentations and close sales effectively
· Input and track sales/service data in CRM systems, generate performance metrics, and direct customer plans
· Stay abreast of industry trends and competitive activity
· Provide product support and training to distributor sales teams
· Participate in industry tradeshows; support onsite assembly as needed
· Collaborate closely with customer service and internal teams to resolve challenges and ensure satisfaction
· Identify opportunities for process and product improvement upgrades[3][4][1]

· Submit monthly expense reports

· Support company marketing initiatives by developing content and attending relevant events

· Ability to operate cleaning and product equipment

· Mechanical aptitude to read basic design drawings
· Willingness and ability to travel 50–75% (typically 3 out of 4 weeks/month)
Education and Experience
· Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in marketing, sales, chemistry, or a related field
· 3-5 years of related sales/account management experience, preferably in chemical manufacturing or industrial sales
· Courses in social sciences, business, or basic chemistry considered valuable
· Valid driver's license required
Physical Demands
· Ability to operate a vehicle continuously for 4–5 hours
· Sit/stand for extended periods
· Manual dexterity for equipment and computer operation
· Occasional lifting and/or moving of objects up to 60 lbs.
