Field Activity & Branding Specialist (FABS) – Sales & Marketing Support

Location: Jackson, MI
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. (40 hours/week)
Status: Non-Exempt

Position Summary

Orbitform is seeking a motivated and outgoing Field Activity & Branding Specialist (FABS) to support our sales and marketing efforts through customer engagement, prospect development, and lead qualification activities.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has a passion for connecting customers with solutions. You'll work closely with Regional Sales Managers, engineering teams, application specialists, and marketing to help drive new business opportunities and support customers throughout the sales process.

What You'll Do

  • Learn and actively support Orbitform's Purpose, Vision, and Values.
  • Use strong communication and relationship-building skills to collaborate with customers, sales representatives, engineering teams, application specialists, and marketing personnel.
  • Utilize Orbitform's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to document activities, maintain prospect information, and support sales initiatives.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities, including technical telemarketing, to generate qualified opportunities and secure appointments for Regional Sales Managers.
  • Spend approximately 50% of your time on the phone prospecting and coordinating sales itineraries.
  • Research target markets and identify potential customers to support business development efforts.
  • Develop a working knowledge of Orbitform's products and processes to effectively discuss solutions with prospects and customers.
  • Perform initial qualification of inbound inquiries and determine appropriate next steps in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Provide information and support to prospects and customers throughout the sales process, helping move opportunities from lead to RFQ to quote to order.
  • Assist with the planning and execution of marketing campaigns and prospecting strategies.
  • Represent Orbitform professionally and maintain a positive company image at all times.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

  • Experience using CRM systems preferred.
  • Proficiency with standard business software and communication tools.

Education & Experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, or a related field.

Alternative Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of four (4) years of related experience in sales support, customer service, business development, marketing, or a similar role.
  • Equivalent combinations of education, experience, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities may be considered.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in an office setting but may occasionally require time spent in a manufacturing environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment including computers, telephones, copiers, and other office technology.

Travel Requirements

Travel is primarily local during normal business hours; however, occasional overnight and out-of-area travel may be required.
