About DMS

Digital Media Solutions (DMS) is a performance-driven digital marketing company that connects consumers and brands through data, technology, and proprietary media solutions. Operating in high-volume, transaction-intensive markets, DMS manages multiple revenue streams, variable margins, and complex unit economics across its portfolio of offerings. The company partners closely with clients to deliver measurable outcomes, leveraging analytics, optimization, and disciplined execution in dynamic market conditions.

About this Role

We are looking for an analytically-minded Sr. Revenue Analyst to join our RevOps team and serve as the analytical engine behind DMS's revenue strategy. Reporting directly to the Head of Revenue Operations, you will own the data that drives how our revenue teams understand performance, validate assumptions, and make decisions across our P&C, U65, O65, and EDU business units.

This is not a dashboard maintenance role. You will be a thought partner to revenue leadership; proactively surfacing insights, pressure-testing go-to-market assumptions with real data, and ensuring that when the business moves up, down, or flat, we know exactly why.

Why Join DMS?

At DMS, revenue analytics isn't a back-office function; it sits at the center of how we run the business. You will have direct access to revenue leadership, real influence over how our teams understand and react to performance, and the autonomy to build the analytical infrastructure that drives decisions across multiple business units. If you are looking for a role where your work is visible, your insights are acted on, and you can grow alongside a high-performing RevOps team, this is it.

Key Responsibilities:

Revenue Forecasting & Modeling

  • Build and maintain real-time revenue forecasting models that incorporate qualitative inputs, historical performance trends, and seasonal patterns including weekday, weekend, and holiday variability
  • Align forecasting outputs with business unit targets and translate projections into actionable guidance for revenue teams

Performance Analysis & Reporting

  • Develop and own dashboards and reports, in and out of Looker, that provide clear, objective visibility into revenue performance trends across BUs
  • Deliver WoW, MoM, and QoQ trend analysis that identifies key performance drivers and removes guesswork from actuals
  • Partner with the Data team to ensure reporting infrastructure supports RevOps analytical needs

Proactive Initiative Impact Analysis

  • Evaluate the revenue impact of proposed operational changes before they are implemented, e.g. bid sort model adjustments, pricing changes, buyer distribution shifts
  • Bring data to the table on whether a proposed action is supported by the numbers, and what the downstream revenue and GP implications are likely to be

BU Revenue & GP Assumption Validation

  • Partner with business unit leaders to pressure-test revenue and GP assumptions with live data
  • Ground-truth go-to-market estimates against real market signals; click volume, competitive dynamics and buyer behavior to ensure projections are realistic and defensible

Pipeline Intelligence

  • Analyze pipeline KPIs against budget targets to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Translate pipeline data into clear answers for leadership: how many sales are needed to hit budget, where pipeline coverage is thin, and whether quotas and KPIs are aligned to achievable targets
  • Proactively identify opportunities for revenue and GP growth, and flag areas of underperformance before they become problems
Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in revenue analytics, sales operations, business intelligence, or a related analytical role
  • Strong proficiency in SQL; experience querying large datasets to answer business questions
  • Experience building dashboards and reports in Looker, Tableau, or similar BI tools
  • Experience translating complex data into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships — particularly with Business Unit leaders, data engineering, and BI/analytics teams — to independently develop a deep understanding of business drivers and the meaning behind the data.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, and the ability to work with pipeline and sales data
  • Strong financial literacy: comfortable working with revenue, gross profit, margin, and unit economics concepts
  • Highly self-directed with the ability to manage multiple analytical workstreams simultaneously
  • Experience in performance marketing, adtech, insurance, or other high-volume, transaction-based industries is a plus

Compensation: The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $120,000 – $140,000. Actual compensation may vary based on work experience, education, and skill level.
