Sales Manager
Description

The Sales Manager assists in leading a sales team to create an exceptional sales experience for customers. This role is responsible for coaching, developing and retaining the very best sales associates for the store and driving a high-level of performance among the sales team to achieve targeted unit sales and profit margins while delivering an excellent customer experience along the way.


What you'll do:

  • Forecasts goals and objectives for sales, gross, and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis
  • Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of sales employees.
  • Understands, keeps abreast of and complies with federal, state and local regulations that affect new-vehicle sales.
  • Directs and schedules the activities of all department employees, ensuring proper staffing at all times.
  • Maintains an accurate daily log that reflects all sales activities in the dealership
  • Maintains teamwork in a customer-focused sales environment throughout the sales, delivery and follow-up process.
  • Ensures that salespeople understand and follow dealership policies and procedures.
  • Develops incentive programs along with dealer and other managers.
  • Establishes and maintains standards for the delivery of vehicles to customers.
  • Maintains professional appearance.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Requirements

What we expect:

  • Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
  • A proven record of sales volume, profit, and customer satisfaction.
  • Previous automotive sales management experience.
  • Exceptional understanding of F&I and Internet Sales.
  • Maintain a valid Georgia driver’s license with a clean MVR.
  • Submit to a background and drug screen.

Working Environment & Physical Demands

Duties are performed throughout the dealer premises, both indoors and outdoors and on customer test drives. Work includes frequent movement around the company facilities and the outdoor car lot to interact with customers and other departments. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently required to stand, walk and sit.


The position requires regular and predictable attendance. Scheduled shifts will include evening hours, weekends, and holidays.
