About the Role:
The Sales Support Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales process within our organization. This position is responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, which includes managing customer inquiries, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records. The ultimate goal is to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth by ensuring that all sales-related activities are executed efficiently and effectively. The Sales Support Specialist will also collaborate with various departments to resolve issues and streamline processes, thereby contributing to the organization's overall success. By maintaining a high level of attention to detail and organization, this role directly impacts the sales team's ability to meet and exceed their targets.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sales team in preparing estimates and quotations for large and complex projects as well as smaller service-related projects.
- Interpret and analyze customer inquiries which may vary broadly in nature. Gather information and prepare quotes in accordance with established guidelines.
- Maintain and update customer databases and sales records to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
- Respond to customer inquiries promptly and professionally, providing exceptional customer service.
- Coordinate with other departments, such as operations and finance, to ensure issues are resolved.
- Prepare sales reports and analyze data to support the sales team in decision-making.
Skills:
Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, organization, attention to detail, and customer service excellence are essential for the daily operations of the Sales Support Specialist. Proficiency in Excel allows the specialist to analyze sales data, create reports, and manage customer information efficiently. Strong organizational skills enable the individual to prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring that all customer inquiries and orders are handled in a timely manner. Compensation:
Compensation for this role is between $25 and $30/hour. Exact compensation is determined by evaluating the candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Minimum Qualifications:
