We’re currently growing our team of Artisans with a Shop Coordinator - Inventory. This role will support the Mechanical Group and Operations teams with Mechanical Rental Equipment inventory support (coordination, tagging, etc.). This position will also support the Mechanical Group and Operations Teams with Mechanical Rental Documentation assistance. 


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist Inventory Manager with tagging and entering Mechanical Equipment into RTI’s Inventory Management Systems (Dynamics and zTrack).
  • Support RTI Distribution Centers with inventory adjustments as required and directed by the Inventory Manager.
  • Assist with physical inventory events.
  • Work directly with suppliers to gather all the required data for all equipment types.
  • Receive and process Requests for documentation, or RFIs, from employees or clients and maintain the requests via tracking logs and data books.
  • Build project specific data books to support client standards as requested.
  • Scan, image, organize and maintain documents, adhering to the company's document lifecycle procedures.
  • Assist with file migrations and audits and perform administrative tasks as needed.
  • Manage and track all equipment certifications for each project deployment.
  • Update certifications from Vendors/RTI in the appropriate document system.
  • Assist Inventory Manager and Team with forecasting equipment for upcoming project needs.
Requirements

 Minimum Qualifications

  • Experience working in EDMS Electronic Document Management Systems like: Docu-Ware, Project Wise, Documentum, SharePoint etc. 
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • Self-directed, the ability to work independently, and highly motivated.
  • Adaptable to rapidly changing client requirements with intense focus on serving others.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
  • Extremely detail-oriented, dependable, and trustworthy due to the nature of working with sensitive documents.
  • Strong Microsoft skills with expertise in Excel and Word.
  • Ability to interact with employees and clients in a professional manner.
  • Valid Driver’s License.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Working in an engineering or mechanical equipment environment is preferred. 

Working Conditions / Physical Demands

  • Work will typically be performed in an office environment using routine office equipment.
  • Ability to lift 15-30 pounds as needed when moving business files, papers, and small Mechanical Equipment items.

Travel Requirements

  • Only as needed for training client meetings or off-site meetings.
