Please Note: This specific posting is for a senior-level role on the Indian Health Services Health IT Modernization Project https://www.ihs.gov/hit. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium PathNet Microbiology, understands laboratory workflows, and can translate clinical needs into scalable system solutions. The candidate will also have deep expertise in design, build, configure, and maintain Oracle Millennium PathNet Microbiology functionality. The ideal candidate will also have experience with federal EHR implementation, change management, and cross-functional collaboration with nursing, providers, and Microbiology leadership is highly preferred. As a member of the Federal practice, the Clinical Adoption Specialist III will work on an implementation of Oracle Health Millennium and related technologies for a federal government client and:  

  • Deliver S&P’s InTegrity framework  
  • Run programs that drive adoption of new technologies  
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to properly align technology with desired business outcomes 
  • Support the adoption of new/modified EHR and related systems? 
  • Capture organizational change management items, ensuring mitigation of change impacts 
  • Leverage the stop-start-continue methodology to enhance adoption of new roles and workflows resulting from the Oracle Health Millennium implementation 
  • Play a supportive role in program events and deliverables 
  • Leverage solution expertise to engage and advise Oracle Health and our client(s) to ensure a successful implementation 
  • Manage and complete the development of testing scenarios that correlate with client approved workflows and design

  

Requirements

  

  • Oracle Health (Cerner) experience required – specific expertise with Microbiology build, design, integration, and workflows
  • 8  years of related experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree required (or 12+ years of related experience can be substituted for a degree) 
  • U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance of at least a public trust
  • Ability to tailor communication of complex technical matters for diverse levels of proficiency, positively influence mutually beneficial decisions, as well as build and maintain successful working relationships
  • Strong work ethic and high degree of professionalism, able to adapt quickly to changes in the work environment and to alter approach or method to successfully lead change, reacting well under pressure
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting customer service commitments and project timelines
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, and Excel

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Consulting experience presenting to large groups or key stakeholders preferred
  • Federal government experience preferred

   

Additional Details

  • Works remotely with approximately 25-50% travel required
  • Salary at S&P is determined by various factors, including but not limited to  the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $145,000 - $165,000 [LG1] (annualized USD). This represents the estimated      salary range for this position and is not a guarantee of compensation. Additionally, S&P’s total compensation package also includes medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, 401K, holidays, and paid time off.
