Description

POSITION SUMMARY

PC Solutions services include Managed IT, Cybersecurity, Cloud Services, Video Security and Access Control. The Sales Executive role is instrumental in identifying and seizing opportunities in a competitive technology landscape, driving forward our mission to provide cutting-edge IT solutions that enhance business operations and efficiency. This is a high-impact, field-based outside sales (hunter) role that requires prospecting, build relationships, conduct in-person discovery meetings, and close recurring revenue contracts with new clients.


CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Advanced Lead Generation: Utilize a combination of data-driven insights and creative outreach strategies to identify and cultivate leads.
  • Build and manage a pipeline of qualified opportunities.
  • In-depth Sales Proposals and Presentations: Prepare and present professional proposals and technical sales presentations to key decision-makers.
  • Collaboration: Partner with internal engineering, project, and support teams to deliver high-impact proposals and customer solutions.
  • Tailor contracts to align with both client expectations and our strategic business objectives, ensuring agreements are both competitive and profitable.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities and client communications in our CRM system to ensure transparency and facilitate follow-ups.
  • Client Discovery & Engagement: Conduct initial consultations and discovery meetings to uncover business challenges and IT requirements.
  • Spend over 50% of time in the field meeting prospects and clients.
  • Networking Engagement: Actively represent the company at networking events, marketing functions, Chamber meetings, and similar gatherings to enhance brand visibility and foster strategic relationships.
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly activity and pipeline goals.
  • Stay informed on MSP industry trends, cybersecurity concerns, and emerging technologies.


Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to build trust with business owners and decision makers. 
  • Ability to learn and articulate technical concepts.
  • Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo or similar).
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
  • Demonstrated Resilience, persistence, and a positive attitude in the face of rejection.
  • Prior experience in B2B sales development or appointment setting.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a sales development, outside sales, business development role in a client-facing role.


KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS

  • Monthly new MRR closed
  • Weekly discovery meetings conducted
  • Pipeline coverage (3x quota)
  • Net-new clients acquired
  • Sales conversion rate
  • Demonstrate expert knowledge of company products and services, including best practices in their use and implementation


COMPENSATION

Base Salary: $60,000 – $85,000

OTE: $120,000 – $160,000+

Uncapped commission tied to performance

OUTSIDE SALES CLASSIFICATION

This role qualifies as an outside sales exemption under California law.

Employee must spend more than 50% of time outside the office conducting sales activity.
