About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support a global Life Sciences organization undergoing significant transformation initiatives. This role will partner closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and senior leadership to drive the successful delivery of strategic technology programs. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in project management within highly regulated environments and is comfortable navigating ambiguity, leading large-scale transitions, and driving alignment across diverse teams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT initiatives within a Life Sciences environment.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, status reviews, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Manage workstreams and track project activities using Azure DevOps (ADO), ensuring development teams remain aligned, productive, and unblocked.
  • Partner closely with developers, business analysts, and cross-functional stakeholders to monitor progress, assign priorities, and maintain accurate project status documentation.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level communications, including project updates, presentations, and PowerPoint decks for senior leadership audiences.
  • Identify, manage, and communicate project risks, issues, dependencies, and escalations, while driving timely resolution.
  • Lead integrated planning efforts across multiple teams and initiatives, ensuring coordination and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced project managers as needed, helping establish project management best practices.
  • Drive organizational change and support major platform transitions, including defining and executing transition plans in evolving environments.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, organizational changes, and evolving leadership expectations while maintaining project momentum.



Requirements

 

  • 7+ years of experience as an IT Project Manager leading enterprise technology initiatives.
  • Experience within the Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, or other regulated industries strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to lead projects utilizing Agile methodologies and collaborate effectively with technical delivery teams.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) or similar Agile project management tools such as Jira.
  • Strong meeting facilitation, stakeholder management, and cross-functional leadership skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor messaging for both technical teams and executive leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience creating and presenting executive-level PowerPoint presentations and status reports.
  • Track record of successfully managing risks, escalations, and complex dependencies across multiple workstreams.
  • Experience leading significant organizational, platform, or operational transitions in environments where requirements may not be fully defined.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance multiple priorities and thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or other relevant project management certifications.
  • Experience supporting large-scale technology transformations within global organizations.
  • Familiarity with change management principles and transition planning.
