Immanuel Christian School is seeking a Middle School Girls Volleyball Head Coach for the 2026–2027 season. We are looking for a coach who is passionate about teaching the fundamentals of volleyball while helping young student-athletes develop confidence, character, and a love for the game.
The head coach will lead the middle school program by creating a positive, encouraging environment that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and personal growth. The ideal candidate will be committed to investing in the lives of students both on and off the court while supporting the mission and values of Immanuel Christian School.
Primary Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all aspects of the middle school girls volleyball program
- Teach and develop fundamental volleyball skills and team concepts
- Foster a positive team culture that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, and effort
- Encourage the academic, athletic, and spiritual growth of student-athletes
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and the Athletic Director
- Help prepare student-athletes for continued success within the high school volleyball program
Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous volleyball playing or coaching experience preferred
- Ability to teach fundamental volleyball skills in a positive and encouraging manner
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Immanuel Christian School
