Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional, friendly, and hospitable manner
- Respond to patient inquiries and requests promptly and courteously
- Perform clerical duties related to the day-to-day operations of the front office
- Update and organize patient information in charts accurately and efficiently
- Answer multiline telephones in a professional manner, directing calls as appropriate
- Assist with appointment scheduling and maintenance tasks using EPM or similar systems
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to promote a welcoming environment
- Collaborate with staff to ensure smooth communication and workflow
Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in a healthcare or customer service setting preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and appointment scheduling software
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment
