Job Summary:
Key responsibilities of the Marketing Coordinator include coordinating promotional logistics, managing promotional items, marketing collateral and materials, coordinating event execution both on-site and off-site, and assisting with sponsorship and donation requests. The Marketing Coordinator helps maintain clear communication across departments, supports marketing reporting and documentation, and represents the casino in a professional and positive manner during events and community engagements. This role requires strong organizational skills, adaptability, effective communication, and a passion for creating memorable guest experiences.
Requirements
Required skills and knowledge:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Four years of experience in a guest service-related field.
- Minimum of one and a half years working in a casino marketing environment.
- One year of experience coordinating and managing offsite community engagement events.
- One year of experience in player tracking and back-end casino CMS systems ensuring accuracy of parameters and configurations.
- One year of experience with reviewing and verifying promotional data and matrices for accuracy and consistency.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and Driver’s abstract and must not contain any disqualifying events per the NRWC Safe Driver Policy.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with multiple stakeholders such as internal team members, outside vendors and the general public.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of software applications such as word processing, email, spreadsheets (including excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite).
- Experience in Player Tracking and back-end Casino CMS systems.
- Basic math skills.
- Ability to work within time constraints, stay on task, and follow directions.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to remain calm and professional.
- Must be able to work with a variety of people and diverse personalities.
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently without supervision.
- Pass NRWC pre-employment testing.
- Ability to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to obtain a Class III gaming license.
Preferred skills and knowledge:
- Higher education degree in Marketing, business, or a related field.
- Certification in Red Wind’s “Service First” Program.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to bend, stoop, lift, and carry items weighing up to fifty pounds on a regular and continuing basis.
- Must be able to stand and/or walk for a long period of time.
- Ability to tolerate a smoke-filled environment.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
