Position Overview: GLP Attorneys is seeking a Paralegal or Senior Paralegal to join our Tacoma team. This full-time position may be eligible for a hybrid schedule and plays an important role in supporting clients and cases throughout the personal injury process.
In this role, you will help manage a diverse caseload and provide comprehensive support, including client communication, legal document preparation, case organization, deadline management, and case preparation. You will work closely with your attorney, clients, and third parties to keep cases organized, on track, and moving forward.

In this position, you will:
- Work closely with your attorney and legal team to support a caseload.
- Manage client communications and maintain relationships with clients, healthcare providers, and other involved parties.
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and responses to discovery for attorney review.
- Draft motions, responses, and replies, and assist with legal research and memoranda.
- Maintain and organize case files, including pleadings and discovery.
- Retain and coordinate with expert witnesses.
- Review and evaluate medical records.
- Prepare ER 904 submissions and other case-related documents as needed.
- Prioritize and manage multiple deadlines while maintaining accuracy in a high-volume environment.
- Exercise independent judgment to identify issues, recommend next steps, and support case strategy.
Qualified candidates should have experience and qualifications:
- Litigation experience required.
- A minimum of two years of experience in plaintiffs’ personal injury law.
- A Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
- Proven ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys, clients, healthcare providers, and staff.
- Strong customer service skills and a positive, solution-oriented approach.
- Ability to exercise independent judgment and maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Proficiency in drafting and proofreading legal documents.
- Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently, identify and resolve problems, and effectively prioritize competing responsibilities.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing medical records; experience coordinating with expert witnesses preferred.
Compensation and Benefits: The hourly base pay range for this position is $27.00 to $45.00 per hour, plus bonuses awarded based on production, which may vary by legal team. Compensation is determined using local, national, and industry-specific data and is based on location. Compensation is adjusted based on the selected candidate’s years of experience, education, and skills.
