Description

Outpatient Diagnostic Center of Alabama is seeking a Medical Records Specialist to join our patient-focused team!


Position Status: full-time

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Location: outpatient imaging center in Huntsville, AL


Job Summary: 

The Medical Records Specialist is responsible for managing incoming medical records requests, calls, and voicemails while ensuring the accurate and timely release of patient information. This role requires maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality, data security, and HIPAA compliance. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional service while safeguarding protected health information.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

  • Relevant office/business experience. Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred.

EDUCATION:

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
