Position Summary:  

Under the direct supervision of the department supervisor, you will verify shipments against customer orders and picking/delivery slips. 

Schedule: 

• Tuesday through Friday  
• 5:00 am – 3:30 pm 
• 4 day work week, no weekends!  

Responsibilities: 

• Ability to verify product shipments against customer orders and picking/delivery slips 
• Ability to release customer orders for picking/shipping 
• Requires assistance to resolve discrepancies with customer service 
• Ability to prepare shipping documents with minimal assistance  
• Packing slips  
• Bills of lading  
• Weight and shipping charges  
• Ability to schedule truck lines for product pick up with minimal assistance  
• Ability to maintain appropriate documentation files  
• Ability to complete data entry and order verification 
• Strong customer service skills  
• Computer literacy and ability to use business system for input, maintenance, and inquiries  
• High attention to detail 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
• Excellent organization and interpersonal skills  
• Willing to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays.  
• Additional duties as needed. 

Education/Experience: 

• 1 – 3 years of related experience  
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.  

Physical Requirements: 

• Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, walk, or sit for long periods of time.  
• Must be capable of working in inclement conditions to include extreme hot and cold temperatures.  
• Must be physically capable of lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
