Position Summary:

The Inventory Systems & Logistics Analyst is a high-impact, cross-functional role reporting directly to the Executive Chef / Director of Operations. This individual is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing technology-driven systems that support warehouse operations, inventory control, logistics coordination, and data integration. The analyst will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager, Procurement Manager, and Asset Manager, with a primary focus on complementing the efforts of the Supply Chain Manager by managing the tools, workflows, and data needed for efficient receiving, inventory tracking, and deployment logistics. This role is hands-on and collaborative, solving operational challenges through system optimization and interdepartmental coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and improve custom-built inventory systems using Excel, Access, and other relevant platforms.
  • Execute and oversee physical inventory processes for food and small wares; input accurate data into the inventory system.
  • Generate Bill of Lading (BOL) documentation and ensure seamless communication with Logistics for outbound shipments.
  • Collaborate with the Accounting department to enable real-time and batch data transfers into NetSuite and other financial systems.
  • Provide technical support across departments —including Logistics, Operations, and Supply Chain — for software tools, hardware systems, and process automation.
  • Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to align system outputs with field inventory requirements and warehouse receiving protocols; serve as a backup when needed.
  • Support the Procurement Manager and Asset Manager with reporting, data flow, and system integration tasks as required.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for field teams during camp build-outs, particularly regarding food and supply truck configurations.
  • Occasionally supervise hourly or temporary staff during high-volume operational phases or project-based deployments.
  • Recommend improvements to the inventory flow process based on first-hand observation and data-driven analysis.

  

Qualifications:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and database-driven tools.
  • Proven experience developing or managing custom inventory and logistics tracking systems.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a demonstrated ability to work across departments.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations, food inventory, and field logistics preferred.
  • Experience integrating software platforms (e.g., linking custom systems with ERPs such as NetSuite).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple requests, and thrive in a high-paced, agile environment.
