Description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Human Resources Assistant to support the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of our Human Resources team. This role works closely with the Senior Human Resources Manager and requires a highly collaborative, team-oriented individual who enjoys working in partnership with others. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in structured, task-oriented work and takes pride in organization, accuracy, and follow-through.


This is a part-time, onsite benefits eligible position (20 hours/week) based in Arlington, MA.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including coordinating headshots and bios, initiating background checks, and assisting with scheduling across the administrative team
  • Coordinate performance management processes, including launching, tracking, and peer feedback
  • Assist with annual compliance training tracking and organization
  • Update employee records, including data entry and document organization
  • Handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR team
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is often required to walk, sit, drive a vehicle, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, bend, walk up and downstairs, talk, hear, and see
  • Work Environment: Most work is performed inside of the office setting
Requirements
  • 3+ years of administrative or HR support experience 
  • Experience with Paylocity or a similar HRIS system
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through consistently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional, dependable, and able to handle confidential information
  • Comfortable working within established processes and systems
  • Associate’s degree or higher 

Desired Qualities: 

  • Experience in HR and/or healthcare or mental health settings
  • Experience in a high-volume administrative support role
Salary Description
MIN $24/hr | MID $26.5/hr | MAX $29/hr
