Pure Power Engineering is seeking a Marketing Intern in our Hoboken office to provide hands-on support on a busy B2B marketing team. You'll assist with the recurring work that keeps our campaigns running, social channels active, and sales team equipped, while getting real exposure to how marketing drives growth in the renewable energy space. Duration
This internship position will last 6 months with the possibility of extending. The internship will start in Fall 2026 with the ability to begin in Summer 2026 based on availability.

Key Responsibilities:
You'll assist the marketing team across a range of work, including:
Digital Marketing & Content Creation
- Help plan, schedule, and publish content across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital channels.
- Monitor engagement and assist with community management efforts.
- Support the creation and editing of short-form video content, including Reels, Shorts, and social clips.
- Design graphics and visual assets for social media, email campaigns, presentations, and marketing initiatives.
- Assist with blog writing, social media captions, and other content that aligns with our brand voice and marketing strategy.
- Help draft, edit, and distribute external newsletters and email campaigns.
- Maintain content calendars and help ensure campaigns are launched on schedule.
- Support ongoing website content updates and SEO initiatives.
Sales & Business Development Support & Research
- Assist in creating sales presentations, case studies, one-pagers, and other marketing collateral.
- Conduct market research to identify project opportunities, industry activity, and prospective clients.
- Support outreach efforts by helping organize and maintain marketing and sales resources.
- Monitor competitor marketing activities and identify emerging trends and best practices.
- Research and help refine buyer personas across key audiences, including solar developers, EPCs, project owners, and investors.
- Track and summarize industry news, market development, and renewable energy trends.
- Research relevant conferences, trade shows, webinars, and speaking opportunities.
- Assist with reporting and analysis of website traffic, SEO performance, digital advertising, and campaign metrics.
Trade Show Support
- Assist with preparation, registration and planning for Trade Shows.
- Assist in creating collateral and content for Trade Shows.
Other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must be able to work a minimum of 20 hours or more a week during business hours.
- Pursuing or gained a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Strong interest in digital marketing, content creation, and business growth.
- Familiarity with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, and YouTube.
- Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar creative tools is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Interest in renewable energy, sustainability, or emerging technologies.
Location
This position will be based out of our exciting downtown Hoboken, NJ Headquarters with the flexibility to work a hybrid in-office and remotely weekly schedule. We are next to public transportation options from NYC and Northern NJ. We also provide a parking spot for the days when an employee wishes to drive to the office and for those that utilize public transportation, we will cover the costs associated with traveling to and from the office.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience. We pay 100% of our employee medical, dental, and vision benefits costs, offer 401k matching, commuter benefits and much more.
