Position Summary
As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, engaging prospective dealership clients, and supporting the sales process from initial outreach through appointment setting and opportunity development. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to identify prospects, nurture relationships, and help expand Better Car People's customer base.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively prospect and engage automotive dealerships through outbound calls, emails, and other communication channels.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to identify business needs and sales opportunities.
- Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for Sales Executives.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers within the CRM.
- Conduct research to identify decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Follow up consistently with prospects through various stages of the sales cycle.
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on lead generation campaigns.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospect interactions.
- Meet or exceed individual activity and performance goals.
- Stay informed on industry trends, dealership operations, and Better Car People solutions.
Qualifications
Required
- 1+ years of sales, business development, customer service, or call center experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.
- Self-motivated with a competitive and goal-oriented mindset.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
Preferred
- Automotive industry experience.
- SaaS, technology, or B2B sales experience.
- Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar CRM platforms.
