Atlas Toyota Material Handling is currently seeking a full-time Warehouse Dock Associate to join our team. This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse and dock environment while supporting daily facility operations. What You’ll Do Day-to-Day:
- Organize equipment for outgoing shipments from the docks.
- Notify the appropriate departments when equipment is shipped or received and ensure all related paperwork is distributed correctly.
- Safely load and unload a variety of material handling equipment.
- Ensure equipment is properly staged and stored in designated locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized dock area.
- Keep dock related paperwork organized.
- Ensure the dock is properly secured and shut down at the end of each day.
- Perform general facilities maintenance and cleaning, including outdoor areas, sidewalks, and light plumbing repairs.
- Dispose of garbage and recycling.
- Distribute incoming mail to the appropriate departments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum of 1 year of forklift operating experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of dock or warehouse experience preferred.
- A willingness to learn and be trained.
- The ability to manage time and attendance. You must be dependable, self-motivated and be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Experience with light maintenance repairs is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires but is not limited to standing, bending, crouching, twisting, pulling, pushing, and lifting to 80 lbs., routinely 20-50 lbs.
- The ability to safely operate material handling equipment is regularly required, including climbing on and off equipment, utilizing hand and foot controls, and performing other physical activities associated with equipment operation.
Salary Description
$20-$24 per hour based on experience
