What’s the Role
The Electrical Technician / Industrial Electrician is a hands-on role responsible for keeping our production and facility electrical systems running safely and efficiently — minimizing downtime and supporting uninterrupted daily operations. This position plays a critical role in our ability to deliver fresh products to customers across the U.S. and Canada every single day. We’re looking for a self-motivated problem-solver who approaches electrical challenges with a safety-first mindset, takes ownership of their work, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings industrial electrical experience, strong diagnostic skills, and the teamwork mentality that defines the F&S culture.
What You’ll Own
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical equipment, controls, and instrumentation across production and facility systems
• Diagnose equipment issues, identify root causes, and determine repair or replacement needs
• Install, test, and commission electrical components, wiring, communication systems, and power distribution equipment
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, and technical instructions to complete scheduled and emergency repairs
• Calibrate, service, and replace electronic devices, circuits, and control systems to ensure reliable operation
• Perform preventive maintenance and respond quickly to breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA, GMP, and company safety procedures
• Partner with Maintenance, Operations, and Safety teams to support a safe and efficient production environment
What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or electrical certification preferred
• Background troubleshooting electrical systems in a manufacturing, food production, or industrial environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical theory, controls, instrumentation, and industrial equipment; ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
• Experience with circuits, control systems, electronic components, and mechanical aptitude to fabricate or modify parts as needed
• Logical, safety-first approach with the ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork; clear communicator who keeps teams informed
