Your Role

As the Production Control & Logistics Coordinator, you own the flow of information, materials, and priorities that keep BCI running. You will manage production schedules, coordinate inventory and material availability, communicate with customers and suppliers, and ensure orders are delivered on time.

This role serves as the connection between Sales, Operations, Purchasing, Quality, Shipping, and our customers. Success requires strong communication, accountability, and alignment with BCI's Core Values and LMA™ principles.

This is not a warehouse or shipping-only role. Production control and scheduling are the primary responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

Production Control & Scheduling

• Own and maintain the production schedule based on customer demand, capacity, and      inventory. 
• Coordinate priorities across departments to ensure customer commitments are met. 
• Identify and resolve schedule risks before they impact delivery. 

Customer Experience & On-Time Delivery

• Serve as a primary contact for customer scheduling and delivery communication. 
• Provide accurate order status and proactive updates. 
• Drive on-time delivery performance through planning, communication, and follow-through. 

Inventory & Material Management

• Monitor inventory levels and material availability within the ERP system. 
• Coordinate with Purchasing and Operations to prevent shortages and disruptions. 
• Support inventory accuracy and control initiatives. 

Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to support production and customer      requirements. 
• Work with carriers, suppliers, and customers to ensure timely delivery. 
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation and transactions. 

Leadership & Accountability

• Drive accountability, communication, and continuous improvement across      departments.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in production scheduling, production control, supply chain, or      manufacturing operations. 
• Experience coordinating priorities across multiple departments. 
• Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems, inventory management, and Microsoft      Excel. 
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. 

Manufacturing experience required; foundry or machining experience preferred.
