Compensation
$16.50 - $18.00 (hourly)

Position Specific Duties/Responsibilities:
• Greet all visitors and callers in a cordial, professional manner; maintain reception area
• Distribute mail and messages and manage program correspondence
• Ensure prompt, accurate communication of important information to involved staff (bus arrivals, unscheduled parent visits, student absences, and building security-related matters). Convey messages to students’ family members as assigned
• Complete correspondence and reports as assigned in a timely and accurate manner
• Maintain adequate amounts of necessary school and office supplies and tracking of the same.
• Assist with coordinating ongoing maintenance of copier and fax machines and alert Maintenance department of relevant concerns
• Support the Director of Educational Technology by using Word and Excel to assist in the management of school and student related data
• Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Must have excellent communication skills and customer service
• Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented
• Ability to work independently and be an enthusiastic team player
• Must have computer skills and proficiency in Word and Excel
• Ability to work effectively with clients, staff, families, and community contacts
Qualifications
• HS Diploma with at least two years of Administrative Assistant experience
