We're seeking a driven Sales Account Manager to build strong relationships with apartment communities and property management companies in the North Orlando area. This role is responsible for driving sales growth by developing new business opportunities and managing existing customer relationships across a variety of interior renovation and improvement projects.


The Sales Account Manager works closely with customers and internal teams to ensure accurate project scoping, timely bids, and successful project execution. Success in this role means strong client partnerships are established, projects are quoted accurately and competitively, and customers receive exceptional service from project inception through completion. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who thrives in a relationship-driven, fast-paced environment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, apartment communities, ownership groups, and multifamily decision-makers to drive new and repeat business.
  • Identify, pursue, and secure new sales opportunities within assigned territories and target accounts.
  • Conduct site visits, assess project needs, gather measurements, and develop accurate project scopes.
  • Prepare and deliver timely, competitive bids using company tools and systems.
  • Manage customer accounts throughout the sales cycle, including contract execution, project coordination, and account follow-up.
  • Collaborate with operations, project management, and installation teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade associations, and networking opportunities to generate leads and strengthen brand awareness.
  • Monitor account activity and identify opportunities to expand service offerings and grow existing customer relationships.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, bids, contracts, and sales activity within company systems.
  • Support account collections and resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service through proactive communication and follow-through.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Minimum of 1 year of outside sales experience.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally within the assigned territory.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multifamily housing, property management, construction, renovation, flooring, cabinetry, countertops, or related industries.
  • Experience preparing project estimates, bids, or proposals.
  • Familiarity with Measure Square or similar estimating tools.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.

  

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described below are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.

  • Stationary Position: Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for extended periods throughout the workday.
  • Mobility: Frequently required to move between office locations, customer sites, and job locations as needed.
  • Lifting/Carrying: Occasionally lifts and/or moves items weighing up to 10 pounds.
  • Positioning: May be required to bend, stoop, kneel, or crouch when measuring or assessing job sites.
  • Manual Dexterity: Frequently operates a computer and other office equipment.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate and exchange accurate information with customers and internal teams.


WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment characteristics described below are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions of this position.

  • Office/Design Center: Professional, climate-controlled office environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Job Site/Field: Regular travel to customer locations and job sites with exposure to active environments and varying conditions.
  • Operational Demands: Role may require meeting deadlines and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safety: Requires adherence to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
