As a Medical Assistant, you'll work alongside physicians and physician assistants to provide exceptional care to patients throughout their treatment journey. You'll help keep clinic operations running smoothly, support providers during patient visits, and ensure every patient feels welcomed, informed, and cared for.


What You'll Do

• Assist physicians and physician assistants with patient care and clinical procedures

• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments

• Accurately document patient information in the electronic medical record (EMR)

• Coordinate patient flow to support an efficient and positive clinic experience

• Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, families, and team members

• Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and clinical equipment

• Follow all OSHA, HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogen, and practice protocols

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to deliver outstanding patient care


What We're Looking For

• Experience as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting preferred

• Orthopaedics, pain management, podiatry, or other specialty practice experience is a plus

• Knowledge of basic human anatomy

• Experience with EMR systems preferred

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Ability to multitask and remain composed in a busy, high-volume clinic environment

• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork

• Current Medical Assistant credentialing or ability to obtain credentialing within six (6) months of hire

• Ability and willingness to travel between our Stuart, Port St. Lucie, and Hobe Sound locations

Schedule

• Full-time

• Monday through Friday

• Typical hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Start and end times may vary based on clinic assignment

Physical Requirements

• Stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday

• Assist patients with mobility needs

• Lift and carry up to 20 pounds

• Perform occasional lifting, pulling, bending, and stooping


Travel Requirements

This position regularly supports multiple clinic locations and requires travel between our Stuart, Port St. Lucie offices as needed. Mileage reimbursement is provided for approved travel between office locations in accordance with company policy.
