About Vala’s

Located in Gretna, Nebraska, Vala’s is a family owned and operated fall festival open to the public 45 to 55 days a year and is a treasured fall tradition for many families in the surrounding communities. Vala’s property spans 400+ acres, including over 50 attractions, such as pick-your-own pumpkins, apples, and flowers, and over 25+ food locations. Our mission at Vala’s is to bring happiness to the world by creating a place where magical memories are shared between families and friends- one person, one pumpkin, one experience at a time.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

As a part of the parking team, this position is responsible for supporting safety in the parking lot by directing guest traffic. Guest interaction is required. This position reports to the Parking Team Leader. This is a seasonal, part to full time position. 

• Ability to follow procedure to ensure safety in the parking lot 
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to remain calm in stressful circumstances
• Effectively communicates with guests while directing traffic
• Interacts with guests in a friendly manner at all times
• Works well in a fast paced, team environment
• Ability and carry to lift up to 50 lbs throughout each shift
• Ability to work in variable weather conditions
