The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for responding to customer inquiries, preparing detailed quotes for dance flooring systems, developing and managing customer relationships to help drive revenue growth and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. This position focuses on inbound sales activities, proactive follow-up, and converting opportunities through consultative support. 

Responsibilities Include:

1. Act as a subject matter expert on dance flooring systems, providing guidance to dance professionals, professional and home studio owners, teachers, architects, and designers.

2. Recommend customized product solutions that align with client requirements, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and satisfaction. Actively contribute to building long-term customer relationships through consultative selling.

3. Prepare detailed quotations for dance floor systems, incorporating product specifications, delivery logistics, and comprehensive care and handling instructions to support informed purchasing decisions.

4. Process orders efficiently using sales inventory management software, referencing current price lists and product literature to ensure accuracy and timeliness.

5. Investigate and resolve customer complaints or escalated issues.

6. Assist Sales & Customer Development Manager in monitoring and analyzing sales performance metrics and assist in implementing strategies to improve results. 

7. Maintain clear communication with management by submitting regular activity reports, sales metrics, and customer feedback to support strategic planning and continuous improvement.

8. Maintain up-to-date product knowledge by participating in training sessions and staying informed about new product developments, industry trends, and competitive offerings.

9. Collaborate with marketing to provide customer feedback and market insights that support product enhancements, promotional strategies, and targeted campaigns.

10. Assist in managing inventory levels by communicating demand trends and customer preferences to the supply chain team, helping to optimize stock availability.

11. Participate in trade shows, webinars, and industry events to represent the company, showcase products, and build relationships with potential clients and partners.

12. Identify inefficiencies and lead or assist in implementing improvements for inbound sales processes, responsiveness or customer experience.

13. Travel up to 15%

Requirements

 Requirements include:

· Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education and experience.

· Three years of proven inside sales or consultative sales experience

· Strong customer engagement skills with a consultative sales approach.

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, strong computer experience, ERP and CRM experience preferred.

· Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present product information clearly and persuasively. 

· Strong problem solving, analytical and math skills. 

· Excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills 

· Interest or experience in the dance, performing arts, or theater community, a plus. 


Base Salary Range: $65,000 to $70,000 annual
The base salary for this position may vary based on factors such as location, training, skills, and relevant experience. This position may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, incentive, or commissions. Bonus or incentive programs are subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
