FW Logistics is seeking a dependable CDL Class A Spotter Driver to join our Memphis, TN team. This position is responsible for safely moving 53' trailers throughout our facility, ensuring trailers are staged correctly for loading and unloading, and supporting daily warehouse operations.

This is a Monday-Friday position that offers consistent hours and allows you to be home every night. When spotting work slows down, you'll assist the warehouse team with general labor to help keep operations running efficiently.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Safely move and position 53' trailers to and from warehouse dock doors.
• Stage empty and loaded trailers throughout the facility as directed.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on assigned equipment.
• Report equipment defects or maintenance concerns promptly.
• Transport company equipment for fueling, maintenance, inspections, and repairs as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and customer requirements.
• Communicate effectively with warehouse personnel, supervisors, and drivers to ensure efficient trailer movement.
• Assist warehouse operations during slower periods, including:
  • Loading and unloading freight.
  • Moving product throughout the warehouse.
  • Operating a forklift (if certified or willing to become certified).
  • Cleaning work areas and equipment.
  • General warehouse labor and other assigned duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Safe driving record.
• Ability to back and maneuver 53' trailers safely in tight spaces.
• Previous yard spotting or tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Dependable with excellent attendance.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently climb in and out of tractors.
• Walk, stand, bend, and climb throughout the workday.
• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Perform physical warehouse duties when required.
