Plein Air is the leading marketing consultancy for restaurant and retail industries with strength in creative, original productions, creator, data & technology. We're looking for a driven, detail-obsessed Art Director with a creative mind and impeccable taste to join the team. 

The right candidate will take an active role in shaping how our brands go to market, from campaigns and branding to video and social media. 

You’ll be expected to take ownership of the accounts you work with and help push them forward creatively. 

You’ll work with other designers and writers to collaborate on projects and provide feedback and ideas.

The work here is fast paced to match what our clients require of us, and we value your ability to ship the work with quality and learn from your experience.

We are a distributed company, so you will have lots of video meetings, but you can work from pretty much anywhere that has stable internet.

Responsibilities

• Generate clear ideas and concepts across media
• Produce sketches, storyboards, and roughs to visualize ideas
• Understand marketing initiatives, strategic positioning, and target audience
• Take work from concept to final execution
• Present ideas to team members and clients
• Bring your interest in culture and advertising to your agency work
• Help push your team towards great work

• 3-6 years of advertising experience
• Superior design and conceptual skills
• Highly proficient in adobe design tools
• High level of comfort with using AI to fuel and refine your work
• Excellent time management & organizational skills
• Self Motivated, and comfortable working without someone looking over your shoulder
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to brainstorm in large groups and push ideas forward
• A strong portfolio of work
