The Assistant Director of Admissions supports the Seminary’s institutional admissions strategy by assisting prospective students throughout the admissions process, managing admissions operations and communication, and supporting recruitment initiatives across RTS campuses, especially for designated campuses. This position serves as a key point of contact for prospective students and helps ensure accurate application processing, timely communication, and a high standard of service and support. The Assistant Director of Admissions works collaboratively with the institutional admissions team to support recruitment, admissions operations, events, data management, and student engagement efforts across the Seminary. This position reports to the Chief Enrollment Officer and works directly under the supervision of the designated Director of Admissions, who is responsible for administering annual performance reviews.

Essential Job Functions
Admissions Operations and Applicant Support
- Serve, along with admissions counselors, as a primary point of contact for prospective students through phone, email, virtual meetings, and other communication channels.
- Assist prospective students throughout the admissions process by answering questions related to degree programs, admissions requirements, financial aid, and enrollment procedures.
- Process and maintain applicant files, ensuring completeness and compliance with institutional and accreditor documentation standards.
- Collect, organize, and maintain transcripts, references, application materials, and related admissions documentation.
- Maintain records within admissions databases, CRM systems, and student information systems.
- Monitor application progress and conduct timely follow-up communication with prospective students regarding missing or incomplete items.
- Assist with admissions reporting, data tracking, and funnel management efforts.
- Support institutional efforts related to application processing and admissions workflow management.
Recruitment and Enrollment Support
- Support institutional recruitment initiatives through communication, follow-up, and relationship management with prospective students.
- Assist with planning and execution of recruitment events, Preview Days, virtual events, and campus visit experiences.
- Coordinate logistical support for recruitment travel, events, and admissions outreach initiatives.
- Assist admissions directors with territory support, prospective student communication, and lead cultivation efforts.
- Participate in institutional admissions initiatives designed to improve inquiry conversion, applicant engagement, and enrollment outcomes.
International Student Support
- Assist prospective and current international students with admissions and enrollment processes related to student visas and required documentation.
- Support maintenance of records and compliance related to international student processes and systems, including SEVIS where applicable, as a designated school official.
- Coordinate communication with international applicants regarding admissions requirements, financial documentation, and enrollment steps.
Administrative and Team Support
- Support coordination of admissions events, meetings, calendars, and departmental projects.
- Assist with training and oversight of admissions student workers.
- Maintain admissions materials, supplies, and communications templates.
- Collaborate with faculty, staff, and campus departments to support institutional enrollment goals and provide consistent prospective student experience across RTS.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives and organizational changes within the admissions function.
