Director of Change Management


 

We are seeking a highly motivated and consulting-oriented Change Manager to support the successful delivery of organizational transformation initiatives for federal and defense clients. This role provides direct support to the Change Management Service Line Lead by assisting in the design, execution, and continuous improvement of change management strategies that enable organizations to successfully adopt new capabilities, processes, technologies, operating models, and ways of working. The Change Manager will work closely with Account Portfolio Managers, Project Managers, Business Analysts, Service Line Leads, and client stakeholders to assess organizational impacts, develop change strategies, prepare leaders and employees for change, and measure adoption throughout project delivery. 

The ideal candidate is a collaborative consultant who is comfortable working in ambiguous environments, engaging executive stakeholders, facilitating workshops, developing structured deliverables, and translating complex organizational challenges into practical change management solutions.  

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Support the development and execution of change management strategies across multiple client engagements.  
  • Conduct organizational change assessments to identify impacts, risks, readiness, and stakeholder needs.  
  • Assist in developing integrated change management plans aligned with project objectives and organizational priorities.  
  • Create stakeholder engagement, communication, and change adoption strategies that increase awareness, understanding, and commitment.  
  • Develop executive presentations, change deliverables, and client-ready documentation.  
  • Assist with facilitation of discovery sessions, stakeholder workshops, focus groups, and leadership meetings.  
  • Assist the Change Management Service Line Lead in developing standardized methodologies, templates, playbooks, and delivery assets.  
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Change Management Service Line by identifying opportunities to enhance delivery quality and consistency.  
  • Support development of reusable frameworks, assessment tools, and consulting methodologies.  

Skills and Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology, Human Resources or related field; Master’s preferred 
  • Proven experience in change management, organizational development, or related roles 
  • Strong understanding of change management methodologies and tools (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter’s 8-Step Process, stakeholder analysis) 
  • Experience developing executive communications, briefing materials, and client deliverables.  
  • Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess change impact and develop strategic solutions 
  • Project management skills and experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously 
  • Certification in change management (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) is a plus
